Shonda Savage Whitworth, President
Shonda Savage Whitworth is the founder and president of Fortress of Hope Ministries, Inc., offering hope to those whose lives have been impacted by incarceration. Shonda is passionate about seeing those who have incarcerated loved ones to be set free through Jesus our Lord from shame, guilt, and condemnation. And to be filled with the hope and joy we have in Christ Jesus to heal and restore broken lives.
For the past 15 years, Shonda has been leading Bible studies and home groups as well as speaking at conferences and retreats. Now the Lord has blessed her with the opportunity to share His amazing love with those who are affected by having someone they love go to prison. Shonda transparently shares her testimony of living with a son in prison on the Fortress of Hope Blog and on her personal website.
Shonda and her husband, Eldon have been married for 29 years and live in Lubbock, Texas. They have two adult sons, two dogs, and two cats.
