What you’ll find in our online support group:
Hope for Prison Inmate Families is a closed group for family members and friends who have a loved one in prison, on parole, or probation. We also welcome former offenders. In Christ our Lord, we have hope in Him to carry on and live for His glory.
In this group our primary focus is as follows:
• prayer for general needs
• prayer for each other’s specific needs
• share encouragement and praise reports
• inspiration from the Word of God
• spiritual growth & development
Using the Facebook live feature, we have teachings from time to time by the admin, guest teachers, and ministers to address issues that are common to the prison family.
As family and friends, we are to be equipped to support our incarcerated loved ones through this season. Also we are being prepared for greater service unto the Lord. In order to accomplish the mission God has for us, we need to learn to live fully equipped in His glorious Kingdom by applying the principles of His word into our lives.
As family members on the outside, we are to pray and encourage those behind bars to pursue and seek the Lord while in prison. We believe the Lord is preparing them to fulfill plans and purposes God ordained for them.
Since the focus of this online support group is prayer and spiritual growth, we do not have advocacy or recovery posts. If you and your loved one is in need of a prison advocate, we have a list of various advocacy groups available.
